Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business introduces a new accolade this fall — the “Dean’s Medalist” designation. Aimed at honoring the top students graduating from every program each semester, this initiative seeks to acknowledge the exceptional achievements of graduates across various business disciplines.

In its inaugural semester, 29 distinguished graduates earned the prestigious Dean’s Medalist distinction. The recipients were recognized at a luncheon held on December 5 at the Tempe campus. Ohad Kadan, the Charles J. Robel Dean and W. P. Carey Distinguished Chair, extended congratulatory remarks during the celebration, emphasizing the significance of this honor among the nation’s largest and top-ranked business schools.

“We are the largest business school in the United States and also among the top business schools, so this recognition places you as the best among the best,” said Dean Kadan. “The skills you have grown here, from quantitative skills to communication and leadership skills, will serve you in the next chapter, too. We are proud to have you as our ambassadors.”

While W. P. Carey traditionally acknowledges a top graduating undergraduate and graduate student each semester, the introduction of the Dean’s Medalist designation allows for a more extensive recognition of exceptional students.
