Program Details:

The TechWomen Program spans five weeks, offering participants project-based mentorships at leading companies in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago. During this period, participants engage in professional development workshops, networking events, and travel to Washington, D.C. for targeted meetings and special events to conclude the program.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the 2024 TechWomen Program, applicants must:

– Be women with a minimum of two years full-time professional experience in STEM fields.
– Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
– Be proficient in written and spoken English.
– Be citizens and permanent residents of eligible countries.
– Be eligible to obtain a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
– Not have applied for an immigrant visa to the United States in the past five years.
– Not hold U.S. citizenship or be a U.S. legal permanent resident.

Benefits of the Program:

The TechWomen Program covers the following costs:

– Roundtrip international airfare
– Domestic airfare within the U.S.
– Housing during the mentorship period

Participants are responsible for the cost of non-program activities, such as independent sightseeing and cultural events.

TechWomen participants will be housed in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, California, Emeryville, California, or Chicago, Illinois, depending on the location of the participant’s host company.
