Dr. (Mrs) Martha Osei-Marfo, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Water and Sanitation, has secured a significant victory by winning the position of Women Executive Officer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) branch of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).

In an uncontested election, Dr. Osei-Marfo garnered an impressive 99.4% support from voters, securing 169 votes in favor of her candidacy in a YES and NO election. The election saw a total turnout of 165 voters out of the registered 858, with 693 absentees.
