Precious Chioma Ugwoke’s journey took a turn when, in 2018, she decided to go back to JSS3, determined to complete her education. Financial challenges and early marriage had led her to drop out of school years ago. Her decision to resume her education was fueled by a desire for personal growth and a better future for herself and her family.
As a mother, wife, and student, Mrs. Ugwoke faced numerous challenges. Early mornings involved preparing her children for school, attending classes, completing assignments, studying for exams, and fulfilling her responsibilities at home. Despite facing skepticism and mockery from some who deemed her too old for school, she remained undeterred.
Mrs. Ugwoke’s journey was not without difficulties, but she tackled each obstacle head-on. Through hard work, diligence, and burning the midnight oil, she pressed on. On June 22, 2022, she wrote her last paper in the West African Examination Council Senior Certificate Examination (WASSCE), marking the completion of her secondary education.
