24 Year Old Karime Morales Milian Emerges as Rising Star in Supply Chain Management at W. P. Carey

Karime Morales Milian, a sophomore at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business, is making significant strides in the field of Supply Chain Management while actively contributing to the campus community. Hailing from Phoenix, Karime has emerged as a leader and a catalyst for positive change during her time at ASU.

In her freshman year, Karime co-founded Spirit of Fleischer, an organization comprised of former mentors and scholars of the Fleischer Scholars Program. This initiative is dedicated to enhancing the experiences of the community and fostering a supportive environment for its members.

Karime’s involvement on campus is extensive, reflecting her commitment to making a lasting impact. As a business ambassador, WPC 101 facilitator, Devils’ Advocates tour guide, and former peer advisor, she dedicates her time to guiding and assisting fellow students. Recently elected as the Executive Vice President of the TAMID Group, Karime continues to broaden her leadership horizons.

Expressing her motivation for choosing W. P. Carey, Karime acknowledges the abundant and diverse resources available to students. The school’s highly regarded Supply Chain Management program, renowned for its impressive ranking, played a pivotal role in shaping her academic journey.

Karime’s passion for her field was recently demonstrated when she participated in the Starbucks Fall 2023 Supply Chain Case Competition. Among the top 20 active members of the Supply Chain Management Association, she showcased her skills in tackling real-world supply chain challenges presented by Starbucks. The experience provided her with unique insights and a valuable learning opportunity.

Post-graduation, Karime aspires to work as a procurement or sourcing analyst, leveraging the knowledge and skills acquired through her studies and extracurricular activities.
